To determine the scope of our demonstration project, Jeff and I conducted an initial analysis by conferencing online using Skype software. The purpose of our initial web conference was to:
- Observe and record similarities and differences in the features of the two web conferencing / learning management tools, WiZiQ and Adobe Connect.
- Determine which functions of each we will demonstrate and compare.
- Of the functions selected, determine which features we will demonstrate and compare.
We decided to showcase the following functions of each system:
- Voice / Video
- Whiteboard
- Chat / Text
- Content (file sharing)
Based on the initial analysis performed during this teleconference, we were able to draft our project proposal.
